Learn the art of traditional sourdough bread making in hands-on workshops. Discover how to create your own bread from scratch, guided step by step through the entire process.

We offer two different workshop options, each based on a unique sourdough culture and recipe :

- Easy sandwich loaf sourdough bread – a light, soft loaf, perfect for people new to the world of sourdough. This recipe follows three steps in under a 24 hour period, making it perfect for people with little time and doesn't require much effort.

Workshop duration :  Approximatively 1.5 hours (spread over 1 day).

Price : R450 per person

- Traditional German-style rye sourdough bread – made with an ancient german recipe, using mainly rye flour, this bread has been rated by foodies around the world as one of the finest loaves they ever tasted.  This extremely healthy slow fermenting bread takes a longer time allowing the bread to develop its deep flavor and character. The effort required to bake these breads is demanding, however extremely rewarding and is tailored to people who have a deep love for bread.

Workshop duration :  Approximatively 2.5 hours (spread over 2.5 days).

Price : R700 per person

At the end of your workshop, you’ll take home : your freshly baked bread, your own sourdough starter, a detailed recipe to continue baking at home.

Note : As the baking process takes place over multiple sessions, we recommend booking accommodation on the farm to fully enjoy the experience without time constraints.
